Don't Stop Believing by Journey

Here are 5 things we bet you didn't know about the iconic 1981 smash hit song Don't Stop Believin' from the rock band Journey.

This song was a major hit in 1981 for Journey and become a hit again in 2009/10 after the TV show Glee used it in one of their episodes. It is a staple song at just about every event I do and always gets couples up on the dance floor.

I highly recommend having this song on your playlist for your wedding or event.

5 Things about the song Don't Stop Believin'

1. The song is 4 minutes and 10 seconds long, but the chorus only starts at 3 minutes and 22 seconds (after the guitar solo).

2. There is no official studio version video for the song, only this live version from Huston, Texas recorded in 1981.

3. The chorus is only sung 4 times.

4. It was the last song to be written for the Escape album (1981).

5. The title came from Johnathan Cane (keyboardist). Ironically, he was thinking about quitting music prior to being hired by Journey, and his farther told him “Don’t Stop Believing”.
