YOU ARE NOT HIRING A RANDOM DJ COMPANY

The Same Two People From the First Call to the Final Song

Waterloo Region has no shortage of wedding vendors. The harder part is knowing exactly who will arrive, how they will work with your venue and whether they can manage more than the music.

When you book Starlight, you work directly with Paul and Jennifer throughout the entire process. We do not send an associate, subcontractor or unfamiliar replacement.

WHY WATERLOO REGION COUPLES BRING STARLIGHT TO THEIR WEDDING

More Than Music and Equipment

A polished wedding requires hundreds of small decisions that guests never notice when they are handled properly. We help protect the flow around the celebration.

REAL WATERLOO REGION EXPERIENCE

Whistle Bear—Multiple Weddings, All Three Main Reception Spaces

Every venue has its own layout, rhythm and operational details. Familiarity reduces guesswork.

We have worked at Whistle Bear Golf Club multiple times and in all three main reception spaces. That experience helps us plan ceremony coverage, equipment placement, speeches, guest sightlines and the transition into dancing with the room already in mind.

“Paul and Jennifer provided amazing DJ service. They were professional and exceeded our expectations.”

FROM CEREMONY TO RECEPTION

One Team. Fewer Hand Offs

Many Waterloo Region weddings take place entirely at one venue. That is convenient for guests, but it also creates a sequence of transitions that must be managed properly.

Couples who select Jennifer as their officiant gain an additional advantage: the same two people understand the ceremony, timeline, music and reception from beginning to end.

A DANCE FLOOR BUILT FOR THE PEOPLE YOU INVITED

A Dance Floor That Grows With the Night

Your guests may include grandparents, coworkers, university friends, young cousins and people who have never shared a dance floor before.

Paul builds the night song by song—using recognizable music to bring generations together early, then increasing the energy as the crowd changes, moving toward a higher-energy, club-leaning set once the floor is full of the guests ready for it.

We let great songs breathe. We use the microphone with purpose. We take requests without surrendering the direction of the evening.

WATERLOO REGION WEDDING QUESTIONS

Practical Answers Before You Enquire

This FAQ is intentionally regional. It addresses the concerns a Waterloo Region couple may have about hiring an owner-led team based near London.

Do Paul and Jennifer personally attend Waterloo Region weddings?

Yes. Every Starlight wedding is personally planned and led by Paul and Jennifer. We do not send subcontractors, associate DJs or substitute team members.

Do you provide ceremony audio?

Yes. Our ceremony coverage can include a separate professional sound system, wireless microphones, prelude music and precisely timed processional, signing and recessional cues. We arrive early to set up and test everything before your guests are seated.

Can Jennifer officiate our ceremony?

Yes. Jennifer is a licensed Ontario wedding officiant and can personally perform your ceremony. Having the same team handle the officiating, ceremony audio, music and reception flow creates a smoother, more connected wedding experience.

Have you worked at Whistle Bear Golf Club?

Yes. We have worked at Whistle Bear Golf Club multiple times and in all three of its main reception spaces. That familiarity helps us plan equipment placement, ceremony coverage, speeches, guest sightlines and the transition from dinner into dancing.

Will there be a travel fee?

Any applicable travel cost is clearly included in your written quote before you reserve the date. We do not add surprise travel charges after you have booked.

How far in advance should we check our date?

As early as possible. Paul and Jennifer personally lead every wedding, and we accept only one wedding per weekend. Popular spring, summer and fall dates can be booked well in advance, so it is worth checking availability as soon as your venue and date are confirmed.
