OK, we get it, there are hundreds if not thousands of songs that could make this list and it's impossible to narrow it down to just 10. So having said that, here are our Top Ten Love Songs Of All Time.

1. Elvis Presley - Can't Help Falling In Love

He was known as the king of rock and roll and had multiple hits in the 50s, 60s and 70's before his unfortunate death in 1977. Elvis Presley is also known as having the first music video with Jail House Rock from the 1957 movie with the same title. Can't Help Falling In Love shows Elvis Presley's softer side. Recorded in 1961, it has stood the test of time as one of the all time greatest love songs ever. We think it is well deserving of the number one spot on our list.

2. Ed Sheeran - Perfect

Released in 2017 this song refuses to go away and for good reason. It's not only one of our most highly requested songs for weddings, it also ranks at the highest requested song at elementary school dances too. This is a testament to the power of the melody and lyrics that it can span multiple age groups.

3. Journey - Faithfully

Voted by multiple poles as the best power balled ever! The song talks about a musician on the road that is missing his loved-one and ability to stay faithful. This is the 2nd released off the Frontiers album from 1983 and the follow up album to Escape with incredible hits like Don't Stop Believin', Open Arms and Who's Crying Now. Noted as one of the best rock singers of all time, Steve Perry's vocals are superb. We love the drum fills by Steve Smith on the 2nd half of the song and Neal Schon's beautiful guitar solo is hypnotizing.

For these reason this our personal favourite on our top 10.

4. John Legend - All Of Me

The beautiful poetic lyrics and the innocents of just John and his piano make this an outstanding wedding song. It's a simple but powerful song that talks about love regardless of imperfections. It makes a great first dance tune or also works quite nicely for wedding ceremonies. John wrote for his wife. It's one of our favourites.

5. Céline Dion - The Power Of love

Originally co-written and sung by Jennifer Rush 1984, Celine puts her powerful voice behind this epic tune. The song was release in 1993 off the Colour Of My Love album and was the first release. It was at the number one position for 4 weeks on the US Billboard Hot 100. The dynamics of Celine's recording are excellent with a building crescendo to the end of the song making it always a pleasure to listen to.

6. Day + Shay - Speechless

Released in 2018 it's one of the most current songs on our list. It peaked at number one on the US Country Charts. We simply love the melody and the lyrics.

7. Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud

Released in 2014, Ed Sheeran is the only artist to be on our list twice, and with good reason. There isn't much to say about this song, except it continually gets requested at all of our events.

8. Calum Scott, Leona Lewis - You Are The Reason

Released in 2017. This song has a lovely melody but we especially love the lyrics.

Although Calum has his solo version of this song, we think the addition of Leona Lewis makes it extra special or a wedding / love song.

9. Christina Perri - A Thousand Years

Released in 2011 and featured in the Twilight - Breaking Dawn movie. We think it makes for a beautiful song for lovers.

10. Bryan Adams - (Everything I Do) I Do It For You

Released in 1991 and featured in the movie Robin Hood staring Kevin Costner, it is still Bryan Adam's biggest hit and was at the number one for an amazing 7 weeks on the Hot Billboard 100 in the United States . We love the melody, driving guitar solo at the end and Bryan's soulful voice to deliver the beautiful lyrics.
