What Happens When Something Doesn’t Go to Plan?
Even a carefully planned wedding can encounter the unexpected—a vendor runs late, the timeline shifts or something simply stops working.
That’s when having two experienced professionals becomes especially valuable.
Paul remains at the DJ booth, managing the music, microphones and next scheduled moment. Jennifer is free to coordinate with vendors, adjust the timeline and solve problems before they become the couple’s responsibility.
A Recent Example
At a backyard tent wedding, the food truck’s electrical connection failed. Its only alternative was an industrial generator—loud enough to overpower the cocktail music and make the upcoming grand entrance, first dance, dinner blessing and speeches nearly impossible to hear.
There was no venue coordinator, wedding planner or separate day-of coordinator. Nobody asked us to intervene.
Jennifer recognized the problem, approached the food-truck team and coordinated a 10–15-minute generator shutdown so every important pre-dinner moment could happen properly and on schedule. Throughout that process, Paul remained at the DJ booth, ready to manage the music and formalities.
The couple never had to leave their celebration, speak with the vendor or find a solution themselves.

Starlight is an exclusive boutique service based out of our private studio in Southwestern Ontario. We intentionally accept a limited number of premium weddings each season throughout Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, and surrounding historic communities.
Because we accept only one wedding per weekend, we do not split our attention. When you book Starlight, our entire weekend belongs to your Waterloo Region venue.
Our planning, music consultations, and venue coordination are managed through a seamless digital workspace prior to your wedding day. On the day of your celebration, we arrive at your venue hours early—fully prepared, entirely focused, and with zero logistical guesswork for your coordinator.
All travel, logistics, and regional coordination are fully inclusive within your written investment quote. There are never any hidden destination fees.
